This
five year programme is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary
for a challenging international career. The two-year Accounting and Management
Programme will develop the basic knowledge and skills necessary for a business
career while the International Business Certificate will allow students to study
and work in an English speaking environment.
After graduation, students
can choose to take a business school selective exam, study at a different university,
enter the work market or stay in the international programme.If so, they focus
their studies on international trade and exchanges and are awarded a bachelor
degree in that specialisation. Students who have reached the appropriate honours
standard may have access to a Master degree at Avon International Business School,
our partner, and elsewhere in higher education. Students also have the opportunity
of studying abroad during year three, four and five.

The
Sénart-Fontainebleau Institute of Technology provides a University education
for over 1 800 students who are currently studying on our two main campuses in
Sénart and Fontainebleau.
We offer 6 courses from undergraduate
to second year. At the end of the second year, students are awarded a Diploma
of Technology Studies. Students who have reached the appropriate honours standard
have access to a third year course to focus their studies through one of our 7
specialisation courses and are awarded a Bachelor Degree. All
our courses provide a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills development.
This is achieved through the combination of formal lectures, tutorials, group
projects, presentations, case studies and the use of regarded speakers from the
private sector. We also propose co-op programs (Cooperative Education is a special
form of education offering alternating study and work terms while earning your
degree). The Sénart -Fontainebleau Institute of Technology is a
part of The University of Paris 12.

The International Business Certificate University of Paris 12 (sous réserve

The
International Business Certificate aims to offer students the widest training
in management. Our purpose is to enable them to work effectively in an intercultural
environment as well as understand the challenges that global firms and organisations
face today. We intend to achieve this goal through specific classes taught in
English, with a strong emphasis on innovative pedagogy : students are challenged
to develop creative and innovative solutions to contemporary business problems
and to develop leadership skills through curricular and extracurricular activities.
The
two-year Accounting and Management Programme will develop the basic knowledge
and skills necessary for a business career.The curriculum provides a broad study
embracing marketing, accounting and finance, and human resources. Students will
enjoy diverse learning experiences including business case studies and industry
project work. The practical side of the programme is underlined by a three months
placement at the end of the second year which is to be made in a foreign country
(Europe, America, Asia). |

The aim of the International Business Certificate
|
|
The
aim of the International Business Certificate is to enable students to study and
work in an English speaking environment. A specific programme of classes in English
has been designed to achieve that goal :
- Corporate communications
: internal and external communications in an intercultural environment.

Economic and legal environment of organisations : Currency and budget financing
; Markets, price formation and incomes' distribution ; Contemporary world's facts
and ideas, European and international law, International economic issues.
- Firms
and their organization : Firms structure and functions ; Organizations' sociological
approach ; Introduction to marketing; Strategy Human resources management in an
international environment.
- International accounting and finance
